I saw For Me and My Gal directed by Busby Berkeley on TMC. I thought Gene Kelly was very modest in this movie and afterward I discovered that that was Kelly’s debut movie. I feel like the plot was a little silly but I really enjoyed the sequence at a restaurant where Kelly and Garland were singing For Me and My Gal and then they started dancing together. The moment two young talents sparked!
